Emma is joining the Outreach and Engagement team as an InspireU Engagement and Project Officer.

Emma is a proud Wiradjuri woman, born in Newcastle, NSW, but grew up in Brisbane. Emma has completed a Bachelor of Applied Management, with a major in Leadership in 2017, this was an aspiration of Emma’s for a very long time, and with hard work and the right opportunities it was achieved. Wanting to ensure that everyone is afforded those opportunities, Emma is passionate about supporting and encouraging the next generation.

Emma comes with 8 years’ experience in working in a central agency within the Queensland Government; working collaboratively with departments, building relationships and networks. Leveraging from her previous experiences, Emma wanted to be a part of gaging her community and is passionate and excited about building new relationships, supporting and inspiring the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders in their pathway to University and aspiring to be what they want to be!
