Victoria is a proud Euahlayi woman of the Gamilaraay nation.  She holds a Bachelor of Education Primary (Hons) with a minor in Indigenous Education.  She is passionate about culture, identity and challenging the deficit viewpoint and stereotypes that exist for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.  She has a range of experience having worked in the Early Years, Primary, Secondary and now Tertiary education sector over a number of years.  She is passionate about working with students, raising aspirations and promoting university as a post-school option, and is an advocate for curriculum change to create more inclusive, culturally safe and aware educators.
