InspireU Junior STEM

Please note: The InspireU Senior Engineering camp for this year has been postponed until further notice due to the increase of COVID-19 risk. Following the Australian Government's COVID-19 compliance requirements regarding social distancing restrictions, the InspireU camps will be postponed until a later date.

We understand that our InspireU camps are highly anticipated and we are disappointed we can not offer our InspireU camps, however; the safety and wellbeing of our InspireU students is our highest priority.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) touches every aspect of our lives from smartphones to the technologies that send us into outer space.

With STEM driving innovation and the global economy – plus a significant Australian Government push to increase STEM awareness and employment – it was important for us to create an opportunity for students to learn about areas of specialisation. The Junior STEM Camp is designed to pique the interest of junior students in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics as well as provide practical insight into these disciplines.

Student participants take part in a number of activities during the week that are both informative and interactive, some of which include biological workshops, 3D printing workshops, physics and maths workshops as well as investigating fields such as paleontology, bioengineering, nanotechnology, plant science, molecular bioscience and many more.
