Full online program

3.30-4.00pm The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) Songs in Language playlist.

4.00-4.30pm Ceremony to launch the UQRAP Network.

The launch is happening during this year’s National Reconciliation Week, which has the theme of More than a Word: Reconciliation Takes Action 2021.

Herston and Gatton campuses are holding events and you can find out more and register to join the events at Herston (3.30-4.30pm) and Gatton (3.45pm for 4pm start). Come along and meet like-minded people interested in Reconciliation at UQ.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and large numbers of staff and students on campus, the St Lucia campus event is by invitation and online.

The Network will be a dynamic community of staff and students who want to take part in building greater knowledge, connection and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, knowledges, places, cultures and issues.

Increased engagement and action by non-Indigenous staff and students in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is a key factor in the success of UQ’s Reconciliation Action Plan 2019-2022 and members of the #UQRAP Network will have opportunities to continue their cultural learning journey and engage with Reconciliation initiatives across UQ.
