The University of Queensland chose National Reconciliation Week (27 May-3 June) to launch a ‘UQRAP Network’.

UQRAP Network Launch

“Increased engagement and action by non-Indigenous staff and students in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is a key factor in the success of our Reconciliation Action Plan and fits the theme of this year’s National Reconciliation Week, More than a Word: Reconciliation Takes Action 2021," says UQ Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) Professor Bronwyn Fredericks.

Professor Fredericks joined UQ Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry to launch the #UQRAP Network from St Lucia campus on Thursday 27 May. There were online crossovers to events at Herston and Gatton campuses.

Members of the #UQRAP Network will have opportunities to continue their cultural learning journey and engage with Reconciliation initiatives across UQ.
