InspireU team for 2018

23 April 2018

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit’s Outreach and Engagement Team is gearing up for a busy 2018.

The Team has now a full complement of staff after the loss of staff at the end of 2017.

The Manager for Outreach and Engagement, Sid Domic said the team has lost some experience but has gained new staff that can hit the ground running to deliver InspireU camps and other projects.

The newest member to join the team is Emma Olssen who is the InspireU Engagement and Project Officer.

“Emma comes with 8 years’ of experience in working in a central agency within the Queensland Government.

“She is passionate and excited about building new relationships, supporting and inspiring the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders in their pathway to University, these are valuable assets to bring to the Outreach and Engagement team,” said Mr Domic.

The next InspireU camps are in July and applications are available for the Business and Health Sciences camp (1st - 6th) and Education (8th - 13th).
