Research theme: Indigenous health
Staff and students of the ATSIS Unit have a significant history of contributing to studies of Indigenous health, in partnership with a range of communities and organisations. Current staff research interests and work in this area address three main themes:
- Indigenous identity, public health and health promotion;
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander responses to health and medical technologies;
- Indigenous Health governance.
